Everybody has an opinion and that matters, but what is important is the final conclusion. If the discussion of opinions doesn't lead anywhere, those opinions are nothing but a moo point. If you believe that you possess the skill to lead a discussion in a proper direction, then this event is definitely for you. Welcome to stimulating and grueling Group discussions under the banner of Catastrophe.

Participation: Individual

Rules:
1) A group of ten participants shall be given a topic to discuss upon.
2) Participants will be given 2 minutes to think on the topic. Participants shall be given 10 minutes to discuss on the topic.
3) At the end of 8 minutes of discussion, a warning bell will be rung indicating that the discussion must be concluded within the remaining 2 minutes.
4) The semi-finals and finals will have different GD formats including Video GD, wherein participants shall be shown a short video clip and they will have to discuss on the same.
5) Participants failing to arrive in time for the GD will forfeit that particular round.
6) Competing participants must not collude to affect the GD in any way.
7) The language must be English.

Paramarsh presents to you an opportunity to prove that your convincing ability, communication skills and spontaneous thinking overpower everyone else.

Rules:
1) The event will consist of four rounds, followed by elimination at each stage.
2) Participants will have to compete in different interesting debate formats as well as in group and one-on-one debates.
3) In each debating round, participants will be divided into two teams; one to propose the motion and the other to oppose it.
4) Participants failing to arrive in time for the debate will forfeit that particular round.
5) Competing participants must not collude to affect the debate in any way
6) The language must be English.
